Dan and Helen Dusschee have owned and operated the vineyard since established in 1981. Dan is a second generation Oregonian and after a career in juvenile corrections began to work the farm full time in 1984. Helen is originally from Ohio and met Dan working in the juvenile court system. They both shared the desire to return to the land as both grandparents were farmers.

Dustin Dusschee is the vineyard manager.  After growing up at Freedom Hill, Dustin pursued other adventures for twelve years, but has returned in 2013 with a new found passion for making Freedom Hill Vineyard the best it can be

Carlos Sanchez has been with us since 2009. Carlos leads a dedicated team that focuses on care, skill and consideration for the vines throughout the growing season.
